Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Rotate through units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU at Mercy hospitals such as Mercy Washington, Mercy Jefferson, and Mercy St. Louis. Maintain a current RN license and report to facilities within the regional footprint upon hiring approval. Requires one year of recent bed-side Med/Surg experience or two years for critical care specialties. Full-time nights shift with regional float pool perks.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital
- Must be available for Nights shift
- Must be available for Full Time status
