Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Regional Float Pool serving Mercy Southeast and surrounding communities. Works across multiple hospitals in the St. Louis region within the regional footprint, primarily in Med/Surg, Tele, Stepdown, ICU and other units as assigned. Night shift, full-time with a $10,000 sign-on bonus, rotating to various facilities, and opportunities for ongoing education and growth. Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure), and have BLS (plus other certifications as applicable by unit). Float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, ICU, Orthopedics, Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac, Neurosurgical, and more; strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg; two years for other specialties as applicable
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health; BLS+ACLS for CC; BLS+NRP for Women's Health; BLS+ACLS+PALS for ED
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods; lifting up to 50 pounds
