Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Report to assigned hospitals within the regional footprint, with specific facilities determined upon hire and approval by leadership. Provide bedside care in units including Orthopedics, Trauma, Surgery, Oncology, Neuro, Medical, Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown, and Intensive Care. Maintain current RN licensure and hold required certifications such as BLS, ACLS for critical care roles. Work a full-time night shift with significant physical demands including lifting and turning patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital
- Must be available for assigned facilities (Min of 3 assigned)
- Must be available for Nights shift
- Must be available for Full Time status
