Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated sites including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, South, Washington, Lincoln, Perry, Southeast, and Stoddard. Provide emergency department nursing support with a minimum of three assigned facilities, requiring at least three years of ER experience and current ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and MANDT certifications. Work nights in a part-time capacity, utilizing theoretical concepts to guide clinical decisions while collaborating with diverse care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience
- Six months of this experience within the last year
- BLS certified
- ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, MANDT certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant amount of bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Availability for Regional Float Pool between designated East Community Mercy Hospital facilities
- Part Time status
- Nights shift availability
