Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region, including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, South, Washington, Lincoln, Perry, Southeast, and Stoddard. Float between designated East Community Mercy Hospital locations as a Regional Resource RN. Maintain current RN licensure and hold required certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and MANDT. Requires minimum three years of Emergency Department RN experience with at least six months in the last year.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience
- Six months of Emergency Department RN experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIH certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
- ENPC certification
- MANDT certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Availability for Regional Float Pool between designated East Community Mercy Hospital facilities
- Part-time status
- Nights shift availability
