Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the Emergency Department. Float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities across the St. Louis region, including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, South, Washington, Lincoln, Perry, Southeast, and Stoddard. Maintain current RN licensure and hold required certifications such as ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and MANDT. This part-time night shift role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and regional float differential, supporting experienced nurses who thrive in diverse clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience
- Six months of this experience should be within the last year
- BLS certified
- ACLS certified
- NIH certified
- PALS certified
- TNCC certified
- ENPC certified
- MANDT certified
- Ability to stand and walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 pounds
- Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Must obtain and maintain licensure within 90 days of hire
