Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated sites including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, South, Washington, Lincoln, Perry, Southeast, and Stoddard. Maintain current RN licensure and hold required certifications such as ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and MANDT within 90 days. Requires minimum three years of Emergency Department experience with six months in the last year. Work nights in a part-time role with significant patient lifting and turning duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience
- Six months of this experience within the last year
- BLS certified
- ACLS certification
- NIH certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
- ENPC certification
- MANDT certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to stand and walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
