Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Emergency Department facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated Mercy Hospital sites including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, South, Washington, Lincoln, Perry, Southeast, and Stoddard. Provide critical care support with a minimum of three assigned facilities while maintaining BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and MANDT certifications. Requires three years of Emergency Department experience with six months in the last year. Work nights in a part-time capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience
- Six months of this experience should be within the last year
- BLS certified
- ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, MANDT within 90 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant amount of bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Availability for Nights shift
- Part Time status
- East Community Mercy Hospital facilities floatability
