Job Summary
RN Radiation Oncology PRN at Royal Oak Hospital (Royal Oak, MI) responsible for patient education, symptom management, clinical care, and emotional support for cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy in an ambulatory setting. Under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes nursing process and patient-family centered care principles; operates under Nursing and Operational Leadership policies. Requires Michigan RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA/ARC) upon hire, and 2 years of acute care nursing experience. BSN/ MSN/ DNP/PhD options preferred. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent
- Licensed RN in Michigan
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) upon hire
- ACLS certification upon hire
- 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred (B.S.N, M.S.N, or DNP/PhD) preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or equivalent
