Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse is an interdisciplinary team member delivering high-quality, safe patient care in outpatient radiation oncology. Responsibilities include applying the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation), providing relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, and collaborating through interdisciplinary rounds and effective documentation. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, adherence to professional standards and governance, performance improvement involvement, and serving as a preceptor/mentor to other nurses and staff. The position requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
