Job Summary
RN - Quality Process role supporting Socorro General Hospital’s Quality Program, covering Clinical Quality, Patient Safety, and Regulatory/Accreditation compliance. Responsible for planning, development, and evaluation of program-level quality initiatives; leads cross-functional teams; facilitates process redesign; conducts audits and presents results to leadership; develops facility measures (scorecards/dashboards); interprets data for decision making; supports OPPE/FPPE and medical staff peer review; utilizes EPIC and advanced MS Office/database tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting; requires RN licensure in NM and an associate degree (BSN preferred); 1-3 years of related quality experience; PRN/temporary staffing with varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree required
- New Mexico Nursing License (Registered Nurse-NM) required
- 1-3 years experience in areas relating to the Quality Process
- Microsoft Office skills
- additional computer skills in database, statistical process control applications, decision support systems, benchmarking, process mapping (Visio), and project management (Microsoft Project Manager) preferred
- Knowledge of health care quality management, clinical practice, state and federal regulations, Joint Commission accreditation standards preferred
