Job Summary
Responsible for Socorro General Hospitals Quality Program including Clinical Quality, Patient Safety and Regulatory/Accreditation compliance. Plans, develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates quality management processes; leads development of facility measures (performance scorecards and dashboards); analyzes data from multiple sources to inform decisions; interfaces with SGH departments and PHS entities; presents results to leaders and committees; develops analytical solutions and quality improvement initiatives; educates staff on data collection, action plans, and use of databases/spreadsheets; supports automated routine reports and participates in Quality, Patient Safety, and Regulatory governance meetings. Emphasizes communication to both technical and non-technical audiences, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration in a healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in nursing (RN) required; BSN preferred
- New Mexico Nursing License (RN) required
- 1-3 years experience in quality/process improvement in healthcare
- Microsoft Office skills; database, statistical process control, decision support systems, Visio, Microsoft Project Manager preferred
