Job Summary

RN quality professional leading the hospital's quality program across clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Plans, develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates quality management processes; leads facility performance measures (scorecards and dashboards); uses data display and statistical tools to interpret data for decision making; collaborates with SGH departments and PHS entities to gather, measure, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources in support of clinical programs; presents data interpretations and recommendations to clinical programs and committees; designs analytical solutions and implements quality improvement opportunities; supports automated reporting and training on data tools; serves as an educator on data collection, action plans, and continuous quality improvement; participates in OPPE/FPPE and medical staff peer review processes; ensures readiness for regulatory and accreditation standards; and represents SGH in quality and process-management committees.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) required
  • New Mexico Nursing License (RN) required
  • 1-3 years experience in quality processes or related areas
  • BSN preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • experience with database, statistical process control, Visio, and project management tools (Microsoft Project) preferred
