RN - Pulmonary Medicine Unit - Days

Develop a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes and systematically revise diagnoses as patient progress is evaluated. Provide patient assessment, collect health data, and communicate care plans to patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team while documenting all interventions. Individualize patient and family teaching based on specific learning needs, assess cultural backgrounds, and identify community resources for disease self-management. Nurture a compassionate environment through psychological support, assist technical staff with contrast injections, venipuncture, and IV management, and participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research. If skilled, conduct daily rounds for wound/ostomy/skin care patients. Comply with HIPAA regulations and assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed. Full-time 24-hour coverage from 7am to 7pm with every third weekend and holiday track.
