Job Summary
Establish priorities for daily activities, triage patient phone calls, and administer prescribed medications while providing comprehensive education to patients, families, and communities. Document health information and interventions into the electronic medical record, delegate care tasks using the five rights, and apply the nursing process to make sound clinical judgments. Maintain efficient patient flow and support respiratory and critical care needs across the lifespan. Requires a New Hampshire nursing license, BSN preferred, and two years of clinical experience. This four-day work week includes no weekends or major holidays. Concord Hospital is a nationally accredited regional health system committed to quality management and community-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
- BSN
- New Hampshire Board of Nursing license
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification
- Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers certification
- Other professional certification as needed specific to the expectations of the position
- Minimum of two years' prior clinical nursing experience
- Medical practice/office experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and positively interact with a multi-disciplinary team, patients and others
- Must be able to lift, carry or push/pull less than 10 pounds regularly
- Must be able to frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to hear and speak
