Job Summary
RN Supervisor PT for the night shift provides leadership for the night nursing staff, directing delivery of quality geriatric nursing care and ensuring care is provided per physician orders and facility policies. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating nursing care, reviewing assignments, making rounds, documenting assessments and communicating changes to physicians, orienting and training staff, managing resources within budget, supervising staff, and acting as charge nurse as needed. Requires an RN with 3–5 years in geriatrics (or related), supervisory experience, and a PA nursing license; BCLS certification is required. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential to coordinate care with physicians, families, and staff while upholding the organization’s mission and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with three to five years experience, preferably in geriatrics
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must possess a valid Pennsylvania nursing license
- Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) certification
