Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Part-Time, Day shift) at Jefferson Magee Rehab in Philadelphia. Provides patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process to address physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs; develops nursing care plans with the patient and designated care partner; collaborates with inter-professional teams; educates patients and families to support understanding of condition, treatment, and discharge planning; ensures safe, compassionate, and coordinated care; utilizes health IT to monitor outcomes and improve care; participates in committees and quality/safety initiatives; requires active PA RN license, BLS; BSN preferred within 3 years of hire. Duties emphasize patient assessment, medication administration, discharge planning, and knowledge of cultural beliefs and values; strong emphasis on partnership with patients and families and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- Education - Required Specialized Diploma; BSN preferred within 3 years of hire
