Job Summary
Initiate corrective action for adverse symptomology and respond to critical, highly stressful situations with decisive judgment and composure. Provide psychiatric nursing care to a complex behavioral health population while maintaining a safe environment and optimizing outcomes. Manage patient care utilizing nursing standards and protocols within a fast-paced setting requiring minimal supervision. Requires advanced critical thinking skills and the ability to react efficiently under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Advanced CPI within 30 days of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
