Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of various nursing staff levels while coordinating care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessments to determine diagnoses, and develops plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes. Implements care delivery strategies, delegates duties appropriately, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment, providing learning opportunities and direct health information. Requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and TEAM-A training; offers per diem variable shifts at Adventist Health Castle in Kailua.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
