Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data to determine diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans using the ANA Nursing Process. Implement prescribed strategies, monitor patient progression, and coordinate care delivery while providing health teaching and consultation to interdisciplinary teams. Evaluate progress toward outcomes and continuously seek innovative problem-solving opportunities to improve care quality. Exercise independent clinical judgment in accordance with state regulations and institutional policies. Requires 5+ years of RN experience and a BSN; supports Monument Health's vision of relationship-centered, compassionate care within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
- South Dakota Board of Nursing registration
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work capability: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Proficient use of applicable technology and software to support and document nursing activities and patient care
- Access to work-related applications including company email, iLearn modules, employee engagement surveys, benefits and compensation information, and policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
