Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) utilizing the nursing process, AACN Synergy Model, and evidence-based care standards. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes in this technically complex environment. Maintain valid BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with cards good through sixty days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS and ACLS - BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS and ACLS card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- This position does not offer a hybrid or remote option
