RN Progressive Care Unit

As an RN in the Progressive Care Unit, coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on pre-operative and post-operative nursing. Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, perform procedures as ordered, document care in the medical record, administer prescribed medications and monitor responses, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures and equipment. Emphasizes patient advocacy and collaboration with medical providers to support an exceptional patient experience, with ACLS and BLS credentialing timelines on commencement and ongoing professional responsibilities within a tertiary care setting.
