Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit. Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers; document administration of care, monitor patient status, and administer prescribed medications. Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients; support an enhanced surgical recovery program and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Qualifications include an Associate Degree and ACLS/BLS within specified timeframes. The role emphasizes teamwork within a large healthcare system and offers comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree
