Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition during admission and each shift, performing procedures as ordered by the medical provider, documenting care in the patient medical record, administering prescribed medications and monitoring response, and maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Qualifications include RN licensure with an Associate Degree, and ACLS within 6 months and BLS within 30 days of start date. Benefits described for Medical City Dallas and its network are included.
Required Qualifications

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment start date
