Job Summary
RN - Progressive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth in Massachusetts. Part-time, 24 hours per week, with 7:00 am–7:30 pm shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. Delivers expert, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process to assess needs, establish goals, implement the plan of care, and evaluate patient response. Administers medications and blood products per policy, maintains ACLS/BLS certifications, and provides education and psychosocial support to patients and families. Works collaboratively with the health-care team, conducts bedside shift reports, and performs hourly rounding. Telemetry experience is required; PCU/step-down experience is preferred. Requires Massachusetts RN license; a Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Vaccination against influenza is a condition of employment. Pay range: $37.14–$82.22 hourly (annualized as described). This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Massachusetts RN License
- AHA ACLS and BLS certification
- Telemetry experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
