Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients in progressive care pulmonary settings using the nursing process while collaborating with healthcare providers. Act as a patient advocate by delegating care and participating in performance and practice improvement activities. Maintain professional development within the legal scope of care and align delivery with organizational missions and values. This full-time, 12-hour night shift role requires Ohio RN licensure, an accredited nursing degree, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. Kettering Health serves southwest Ohio with a focus on patient safety and restoring health.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
- A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course
- BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
