Job Summary
Facilitate and guide nursing employee development from initial orientation through employment, serving as an educator, career coach, and mentor. Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing professional development practice while assisting leadership in implementing education programs, evidence-based practice, and outcomes evaluation. Report to a Nurse Manager or Nursing Director to support the delivery of nursing care that aligns with organizational missions and values. Requires an Ohio-licensed RN with a BSN, master's degree, specialty certification, and three years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Nursing related Master's degree
- Certification in specialty area
- BLS
- Minimum of three years clinical RN experience
Desired Qualifications
- Strong intrapersonal skills
- Experience as Med Surg RN Preceptor
- Experience with professional development programs, such as Clinical Ladder, CE development, Nurse Leader Fellowship
- Proficient in utilizing computer software, Microsoft Suite
- Experience with an electronic learning management system
