Job Summary
Provides competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process for the Special Care Nursery. Responsibilities include education for learning needs, evaluation of care with an interdisciplinary team, implementation of care for patients with complex needs, leadership to promote professional growth and interdepartmental collaboration, thorough patient/family assessment and planning, and engagement with multidisciplinary resources for care planning and discharge needs. Requires RN licensure in NC and BLS certification; minimum of 1 year nursing experience. Per Diem, onsite role located in Rocky Mount, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- One (1) year of nursing experience
