Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families through bedside reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and just-in-time teaching. Coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery via timely documentation and diverse interdisciplinary communication. Complete mandatory education, competency assessments, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and protocol development to drive best practice outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Ability to optimize the use of technology to support clinical care
- Ability to hold basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment
- Ability to respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
- Ability to practice nursing using evidence
- Ability to possess strong critical thinking skills
