Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families through bedside reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and just-in-time teaching. Coordinate safe quality care delivery via timely documentation and diverse interdisciplinary communication. Participate in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance activities to promote optimal outcomes. Complete all mandatory education, competency assessments, and precept other nurses. Uphold legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards including TJC Patient Safety Goals. Comply with all Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
