RN PRN MedSurg Oncology - Days. The Oncology unit is a twenty-eight-bed inpatient unit focusing on adult cancer patients requiring inpatient treatments. Core responsibilities include applying the nursing process, providing relationship-based patient-centered care, coordinating care through interdisciplinary collaboration, and practicing evidence-based nursing. The role emphasizes teamwork, performance improvement, mentorship/precepting of other staff, and adherence to patient safety and organizational policies. The position requires active RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a minimum of two years of experience in the specified area, with potential Epic and 3M experience preferred. Schedule is Day shift as PRN with 3 shifts every 28 days and weekend/holiday coverage as applicable.
