Job Summary
RN PRN MedSurg Oncology - Days at Wellstar Health System, Belvedere, SC. The role supports inpatient oncology care on a 28-bed unit, with day shifts and a PRN schedule requiring 3 shifts every 28 days including weekends/holidays when applicable. Core responsibilities focus on providing patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process, coordination and documentation of care, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, precepting/mentoring, participation in performance improvement, and adherence to health-system policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- Minimum 2 years current experience in specified area of practice
- Computer/data entry experience
- Epic and 3M experience Preferred
