Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions and administer ordered medications as prescribed. Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, including basic self-care activities, while formulating teaching plans that include family members. Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, assisting with procedures requiring technical skills. Identify and address psychosocial needs, communicate with social services regarding discharge planning, and prioritize care effectively to promote safety. Demonstrate cost-effective practices and assume lifelong learning related to the nursing profession.
