RN (PRN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Provide direct patient care on the Medical Surgical Unit, including admissions, transfers, discharges, medications, treatments, and ongoing assessments. Implement provider orders, communicate patient condition changes to staff, and maintain accurate documentation while educating patients and families on illness, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care, promote patient safety and infection prevention, and float to other departments as needed. Night shift with PRN status; current RN license in Washington and BLS certification required. Whitman Hospital is a rural critical access hospital committed to enhancing community health and welfare.
