Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care plans with residents, families, and interdisciplinary providers while managing preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Provide resident education and ensure safe administration of care in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work weekends as a PRN nurse at the GSS ND Larimore Ctr in Larimore, ND, earning $32.50 to $48.00 hourly depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
