Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope and competence. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to state licensure rules and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Work weekends in a not-for-profit Christian environment offering PRN shifts at $32.50 to $48.00 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
