Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care. Functions within the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Weekend PRN shifts with variable weekly hours and a salary range of $32.50 to $48.00.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
