Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Collaborate with families, interdisciplinary colleagues, and providers to coordinate care, manage health maintenance, and address diagnosis and treatment needs. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe administration of care and resolving service concerns. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Make your own weekend schedule with varying weekly hours at a rate of $32.50 to $48.00 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
