Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, manage preventative health maintenance, and administer treatments. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe care resolution within the Nurse Practice Act and state standards. Functions as a charge nurse when needed to oversee resident care and service concerns. Schedule varies for PRN weekend shifts with pay ranging from $32.50 to $48.00 based on experience. Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
