Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers to coordinate care, manage preventative health, and deliver education. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
