Job Summary
PRN RN at Good Samaritan (GSS ND Larimore Ctr) in Larimore, ND. Responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborating with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care. Practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and standards, cares for residents across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, coordinates care, resident assessment, and education. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable administration of resident care. Adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and applicable state rules; required to meet licensure, competency, and certification standards. PRN shift with flexible scheduling and varying hours; salary from $32.50+ per hour depending on experience. Good Samaritan is an EEO/AA employer and drug screen/background checks apply for offers.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
