Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, educate residents and families, and manage preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Weekend PRN shifts with variable weekly hours; pay ranges from $32.50 to $48.00 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
