Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, covering all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions while maintaining competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe administration of care. Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Weekend PRN shifts with a variable schedule; hourly pay ranges from $32.50 to $48.00 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
