Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, covering assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education alongside preventative health maintenance and treatment interventions. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers to plan and evaluate care plans. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards. Weekend PRN shifts with variable weekly hours; salary ranges from $32.50 to $48.00 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
