Job Summary
Provide patient-centered nursing care in the ICU on a PRN, as-needed basis. Assess and monitor critically ill patients, administer medications and treatments per physician orders, collaborate with physicians and respiratory therapists, respond to emergencies, and document care in the EHR. Educate patients and families, maintain infection control, and protect patient confidentiality. Night shift, 6:45 PM–6:45 AM as needed; non-exempt hourly position with potential shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in Texas
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Experience in high-acuity ICU (medical, surgical, or trauma)
- Ability to work PRN/as-needed basis
