RN (PRN)

PRN RN opportunity in Horizons Care Center (Volunteers of America) on day shifts (6a-6:30p) with occasional weekends. Provide direct resident care using the nursing process, supervise shift routines, and assume Building Charge responsibilities as directed. Responsibilities include leading unit operations, coordinating staff assignments, performing nursing techniques, administering prescribed medications, documenting accurately, communicating with residents, families, and care teams, and participating in committees and continuous education. Requirements include an active Colorado Registered Nurse license, CPR certification, and CEU maintenance; long-term care experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, clinical assessment, and computer/documentation skills are important, along with adherence to infection control and OSHA guidelines.
