Delivers quality nursing care to an assigned patient group while minimizing infection risks and adhering to hospital exposure control plans. Confirms patient identity using two identifiers before procedures and provides education on treatment planning, pain management, and discharge needs. Anticipates deteriorating vital signs or equipment malfunctions to take appropriate action and participates in performance improvement processes. Establishes compassionate support for patients and families while communicating safety hazards to management. Requires current RN licensure (Texas or Compact), BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification, with 2 to 4 years of nursing experience preferred.
