Job Summary
RN PRN Med/Surg providing professional nursing care, including nursing assessments, exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records; communicates with physicians and interprofessional team to ensure safe, quality care; may assume leadership roles such as charge nurse or preceptor and contribute to unit/shared governance initiatives; collaborates with care team to achieve treatment outcomes; requires Texas RN licensure and BLS, with two years RN experience; non-exempt, day shift; travel within Houston area may be required.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse license (Texas)
- Texas licensure - PSVCompact/compact licensure must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
