Job Summary
Transition between nursing units and departments to provide comprehensive care and support in various medical situations. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and needs, tailoring care plans based on individual diagnoses. Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations to stabilize patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care. Assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers while managing bed allocation and capacity. Requires Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state, BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience. Preferred Bachelor's Degree and one year of clinical specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 1 year as a registered nurse
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- If working in a critical care area, ACLS-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
