Demonstrate competency in clinical practice by managing complex patients and families while integrating evidence-based practice resources. Independently implement the nursing process, operate unit-based patient care technology, and communicate effectively with peers, providers, and colleagues. Serves as a preceptor for new employees and students, creates personal goals for lifelong learning, and identifies ethical issues in practice. Implements infection control procedures, participates in quality improvement studies, and reports equipment malfunctions or safety incidents immediately to the supervisor. Works 10:30 AM to 7 PM with no weekend requirements.
